At first glance the prediction was right on when Kimi won the opening race in Australia. He was untouchable in the race which left the two Mclaren to battle it out for 2nd and 3rd. Then Fernando Alonso fought back with a victory in Malaysia. From there on Kimi was falling behind without any wins because he was struggling with the Bridgestone tires and at the same time fighting with Massa. This demoralized kimi but he never gave up trying, while all the while the rookie in his first season already taking the championship lead in just four races. So there were at least four drivers that had a potential to win the title. From Monaco to Canada and US races the Mclaren team dominated throught out and Ferrari was left trailing. The only thing that Kimi could do was fight on and try to get more points as much as possible. Finally In France at Many Cours, Kimi made a comeback and finally took a stand in the drivers championship.
