Cameron Diaz the blonde, blue eyed 5'9" tall actress model was born on 30th August 1972, in San Diego, California. She is the second child of Bille an import export agent and Emili Diaz has an older sister Chimene and an older brother Michele.

She attended the Long Beach Polytechnic High School. She is described as adventurous, independent and a tough kid; she left home at 16 and began her career as a fashion model. She signed with top modelling agencies and spent the next five years in different places like Japan, Australia, Mexico, Morocco and Paris on modelling contracts. She returned to Paris only when she was 21.

She auditioned for "The Mask" and was surprisingly selected as the female lead Opposite Jim Carrey despite not having any previous acting experience. This film was one of the top ten highest grossing films of 1994 and Diaz was nominated for several awards. For the next two years she acted in low budget films and refined her acting skills instead of taking major roles. She returned to big films with the movie "My best friend's wedding" against Julia Roberts. This film turned out to be another blockbuster. Then came "There's something about Mary" which established her as a full fledged star after having three big hits of the 1990 to her credit. She was on the top of Hollywood's most sought after actresses list. She was nominated for Golden Globe for best actress for the film "There's something about Mary". For "Shrek" she earned $10 million and in 2003 she became the third actress to earn $20 million for a role in "Full Throttle'.

My Top Five Favorite Cameron Diaz Films Of All Time

Over the past fifteen years or so, Cameron Diaz has risen through the ranks to become one of the most famous movie stars in the world. In addition to her good looks, she also happens to be a very talented actress, and although she has more than her fair share of unmemorable romantic comedies, she has also starred in some great films.

This article will discuss what I consider to be the best movies starring Cameron Diaz.

The first film that makes the cut for me is Any Given Sunday. In this film, Diaz plays the owner of a professional football team, and plays the part well. This is one of the better sports films in recent memory and was directed by Oliver Stone and also stars Al Pacino.

Another movie that I thoroughly enjoyed was The Mask. This was actually Cameron Diaz's first role in a major picture, and quite honestly, this was as good looking as she ever was. Jim Carrey stars in this film, along with Diaz, and it is one of the better comedies of the early 90s.

It goes without saying that one film that has to be included on this list is There's Something About Mary. This movie was easily one of my favorite comedies in recent memory and quite possibly, of all time. Ben Stiller and Diaz are hilarious in this film.

Another film that I certainly think is worthy of mentioning is Vanilla Sky. This film was directed by Cameron Crowe and stars Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Kurt Russell and Jason Lee. This film is one of my all time favorites and always reminds me of a good friend that I lost.

The Best Films Starring Cameron Diaz

This article will discuss the movies and films of Cameron Diaz. Ever since her breakout role in The Mask, Diaz has become one of Hollywood's premier actresses, starring in all sorts of different genres of films. She has had some great films, and some not so great ones. Fortunately, there are more good ones than bad ones.

But what have been her best films so far? Here are some of my personal favorites.

One movie that definitely makes the list is Gangs Of New York. This film was directed by the living legend, Martin Scorsese, and stars Diaz, along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel Day Lewis. Lewis' role of Bill "The Butcher" Cutting was absolutely incredible.

It should come as no surprise that The Mask is one of Cameron Diaz's most notable films. After all, this was the film that allowed her to become the star she is today, and I still remember seeing her in the red dress for the first time.

There's Something About Mary is another movie that is absolutely one of my favorites of hers. I went into theaters expecting to see a romantic comedy with Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz, but what I got was one of the raunchiest comedies I have ever seen.

Vanilla Sky is a confusing movie on first view, but upon watching again, its brilliance starts to show. Penelope Cruz looks as good as she ever has, while Cameron Diaz is depicted in a negative light, yet still beautiful. This is a twisted, yet rewarding movie.

Cameron Diaz Beach Body Workout

Cameron Diaz has recently been photographed in a green bikini walking along the beach in Hawaii looking lean and sexy. In fact every time we see her, her athletic body definitely stands out from the crowd making most women despair as they suddenly realise that the summer months are heading towards them at an alarming speed and the thought of removing their clothes to reveal their not so perfect bodies sends them into a quivering mess, secretly wishing that they hadn't missed so many workout sessions and eaten a lot healthier!
